Antipolo Summer Heat Escape : Bosay Resort

Just last week, I was invited to join overnight swimming by my co-employee. And last Saturday, we had our refreshing time at Bosay Resort at Antipolo, Rizal. Entrance fee is 190 Php. We are a group of 8, we wanted to have a room but due to summer season, the only available are cottages. Cottage rental is 1,000 Php. Overnight swimming is from 7 PM to 5 AM. Most of the pools open at 7 PM but party pool opens at 9 PM.
The management is strict with proper swimming attire. Due to that did not get a chance to try all the Bosay's swimming pools. We were only allowed to three swimming pools which were so crowded.

In the morning, we roam around the resort and took some photos. Here are some.

Even though we had not tried Bosay's other amenities, I still had enjoyed the whole experience.

Note: Management is strict about wearing proper swimwear. They will only allow you to enter the pool premises if you are wearing swimwear made of Lycra or spandex, so be prepared.

How to Go:

From Recto ride the LRT 2 to Katipunan, fare is 14 Php. From Katipunan ride a jeepney going to Antipolo and get off at Ynares, fare is 26 Php. From Ynares ride a tricycle going to Bosay Resort. Tricycle drivers will usually ask 15 Php per person.

Enchanted Kingdom : Back to being a Child

November last year, I had a chance to go to Enchanted Kingdom and try every ride that my courage can overcome with my partner.

EK's Front

The first ride that I tried is the Space Shuttle.

Start of Space Shuttle Ride

After the nauseating Space Shuttle ride, we plan to try a milder ride, thus we decided to try the Grand Carousel. The carousel is really pretty and very relaxing through out.

After that, still doubtful if we can conquer another extreme ride so we decided to try, Up Up and Away. Just like the movie Up, the ride was balloon inspired that rotates and rises above the ground.

Up Up and Away

As we are looking for an ice cream shop, we came across Eldars Tent. We decided to watch the Christmas Presentation.

After that we experienced 3D part of the movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island at the Rialto.

Next that we tried is the Wheel of Fate. By the will of fate, when it was about our turn, there was a brown out, and we have to wait for about 30 minutes before it resumes.

Wheel of Fate
We also tried Anchors Away and Swan Lake. There was also fireworks.

We thought that the park will close early because of brown outs and rain but no. We came across Extreme and we decided to try the ride since there were only few people in the line. This was actually my fave ride of all. So thrilling!

Extreme

After Extreme, we tried Roller Skater and Lastly Rio Grande. And with that we gone home drench in water of Rio Grande but totally happy. I failed to try some ride, like Disk-O Magic but next time I will surely try it all.

Note: Bring extra set of clothes if you will try Rio Grande.

How to go to : Enchanted Kingdom

The routes that I'm going to share going to certain places are the one that I've already tried. Other than these routes, I am not fully aware of others.

Going to Enchanted Kingdom is pretty easy. From Gil Puyat (formerly Buendia) corner Taft Avenue ride a bus (Jac Liner) going to Balibago. Got off at Waltermart Sta. Rosa. The conductor will usually shout the place ( Waltermart, mga papuntang enchanted diyan). From Gil Puyat travel time up to Waltermart is about 40 minutes depending on traffic situations. The fare is 61 Php. From Waltermart ride a tricycle going to EK. Fare is 40 Php for special trip. I am not sure how much is the normal fare. The tricycle trip is only about 5 minutes. And there you are at Enchanted Kingdom. Enjoy your day and let the magic stays with you.

After the adventure at EK, to go  back to Manila, you can wait for a bus in front of Waltermart.  But buses are usually full and you will be standing for a long time. If you don't want that, you can ride tricycle again going to Balibago terminal to be sure that you are seated for the trip. Special tricycle trip cost 40 Php.

Bus and tricycle fare is of November 2013. Please be ready for possible changes.

Clover for Goodluck

Hi there guys.

Today I will start to write as a blogger; well honestly it’s my first time to write again after so many years. My last was when I was still in elementary. My blogs will not be very comprehensive nor informative, but all posts will be about things that interest me, may it be places, foods, dress, etcetera. Just anything that I would want to share.

Getting started, I read about tips about blogging. Most of them emphasized that one should choose a theme of his blog, but I decided not to. Not because I don’t want to focus on one thing but I just don’t know what is the topic that I am an expert. Right now, I don’t really have an expertise! There is really no rule that blogger can only discuss a single theme. So my theme would be “Anything that interests me.”

Hope you join me in this new challenge. Yes, it’s a challenge. Also I hope that I could influence and inspire those who wants to blog but don’t have the courage to do it yet. If not now, then when?

Here is a four-leaf clover to give us good luck not just in writing but in other aspects in our life that needs a little bit of luck.
The ratio of finding a four-leaf clover is said to be 1/10,000 of the more common three-leaf.
